Proximity – Retail Technology Show 2025

Proximity are the Retail Super-App. Their technology is designed to transform how retailers engage with their customers to enhance seamless customer experiences in the hands of store associates. They needed their own stand to showcase their technology and have it taken off their hands as their first time having a stand built for them.  

Which event did they attend?

They attended the Retail Technology Show in London. RTS is the premier event for innovation, insight, and connection in the retail industry. Held annually at ExCel London, this dynamic event unites the world’s forward-thinking retailers with leading tech innovators to explore the future of commerce.

Initial Brief

Proximity have exhibited a lot, however they’ve always handled it in house, organising the design and build, utilising their in house office staff to get events set up and ready. This year, they were looking for a stress-free approach, that was still cost-effective, but allowed them to enter the event feeling fresh and invigorated. 

How Stand met Needs

We worked with Proximity to design them a stand that fully met their needs and requirements. It didn’t need to be anything over complicated, just a simple back wall, space for meetings and demos, a presentation screen and some storage. It needed to rely heavily on branding space as this was a brand awareness piece so they could be eye-catching with their bold red design. Proximity knew how to exhibit and they wanted to do so without the stress of putting up a stand themselves the day before. We met their needs by allowing them to come for just 1-2 hours the day before show to do their own set up, and then leave straight after the show closed, to allow decent R+R before getting back to the office. The service requirement was the main driving factor, and working together with Proximity, we achieved both the level of service required as well as an exhibition stand that told their story.
